1990 – Foundation of Agrawal Vikas Trust

Agrawal Vikas Trust was established on October 15, 1990, by Shri Foolchand Bansal and other prominent community members in Surat, Gujarat. The trust was formed with the primary aim of promoting social, educational, and cultural development within the Agrawal community.​

1994 – Foundation Stone of Maharaja Agrasen Bhavan

The trust acquired a 5400 sq. yard plot in the City Light area of Surat, and on March 2, 1994, the foundation stone of Maharaja Agrasen Bhavan was laid. The vision behind this project was to create a world-class cultural and social venue that could host large events for the community​.

1998 – Inauguration of Maharaja Agrasen Bhavan

After four years of planning and construction, Maharaja Agrasen Bhavan was inaugurated on September 5, 1998. The building became a center for weddings, cultural functions, and various community activities. This milestone cemented the trust’s role as a cornerstone for the Agrawal community in Surat​.

2000s Present – Expansion of Activities

Over the years, Agrawal Vikas Trust has expanded its initiatives, not only focusing on event management through the Bhavan but also organizing educational programs, health camps, youth empowerment activities, and cultural celebrations such as Agrasen Jayanti. The trust's youth wing (Yuva Shakha) and women’s wing (Mahila Shakha) have been pivotal in mobilizing community resources for social welfare​.

Through this timeline, Agrawal Vikas Trust has grown into a prominent organization that continues to enhance the social, cultural, and economic well-being of the Agrawal community in Surat, while maintaining its commitment to community service and unity.
